**About the role**:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating, building, and working with their hands? Our carpentry apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of craftsmanship. You'll learn from experienced carpenters, gaining invaluable skills in woodworking, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. From constructing structures to crafting intricate designs, you'll be immersed in a dynamic environment that fosters creativity and precision. With hands-on training and mentorship, you'll develop a solid foundation in carpentry techniques, while also honing your problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Embark on a fulfilling journey, where every day brings new challenges and the chance to shape your future as a skilled carpenter.

Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful trainee as well as providing on the job training for 12 Months. **About you**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions from experienced carpenters and mentors
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to attend RTO/TAFE training
- Able to commit to a 4 year apprenticeship

**What you will do**:

- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
- Install and replace windows and doors
- Install lining, paneling and moulding, and flooring systems
- Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, and timber external stairs
