**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a reliable, and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch based in Newcastle, 2290. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm This role is predominately based outdoors.

In this role your key responsibilities would include:

- Booking in a range of damaged motor vehicles by taking photos, entering make/model descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system via iPad
- Locate, move, (using a forklift), damaged motor vehicles and record the movements of all vehicles
- Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, basic maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Load/unload trucks of vehicles efficiently to ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

- Current, valid drivers licence (essential)
- Current, valid forklift licence desired but not essential
- Ability to use an iPad
- Interest or hobby in motor vehicles (not essential but would benefit)
- A strong commitment to safety
- Good attention to detail
- Good verbal communication skills
- Keen interest in being part of a strong and healthy workplace culture
