We are searching for a Safety Advisor to join our team to contribute to the delivery of the safety, health, environment and quality requirements of the project utilising systems and processes to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual, and business requirements.

**About the Role**
You will promote a strong and positive approach to the safety, health, environment and quality functions within the business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist in informing and implementing safety management plans and procedures across the project
- Work collaboratively across Ventia supporting the team to meet SHEQ requirements
- Conduct auditing and action tracking activities to ensure compliance with Ventia SHEQ requirements
- Support the team with incident reporting and investigations, encouraging consultation as required
- Prepare and deliver SHEQ reports, communications, and safety alerts
- Support the team to ensure risk assessments and risk registers are maintained, and records are managed in accordance with Ventia requirements
- Conduct site safety inspections and undertake Ventia "Critical Control Checks" on contractor works and management systems
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety-related training when required including new starter induction, toolbox talks and prestart meetings

**About You**
- Either one year safety/environment/quality experience or recent Graduate in relevant field
- Ability to clearly communicate and consult to deliver strategies to ensure compliance, minimise risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and a positive team culture
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
