**The position**:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Asset Management, the Community Engagement Manager will work on renewable energy projects in the operational phase under RES Asset Management, building social licence within the communities which RES operate through the development of meaningful relationships within the community and showcasing the many benefits that our projects bring to the region.

Working closely with the project Asset Managers, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of the stakeholder engagement strategy, leading community consultation, communication, and strategic stakeholder engagement activities with unique communities, demonstrating initiative, tact and flexibility in your approach.

We are looking for someone who is an exceptional communicator, able to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, and through use of engagement tools and processes, maintain a meaningful and close connection to the communities in which we operate.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Manage and update project website and social media, developing content including updates and media releases relating to project status, community funds, material community impacts, and publication of documents to meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage photography for the Wind Farm for use at a local and corporate level.
- Coordinate and administer the Community Benefit Fund and independent Community Reference Group.
- Manage day-to-day information requests and complaints in accordance with endorsed procedures.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with the local community, through regular contact and attendance at local community events (where feasible) to develop and maintain community connections and foster a sense of long-term community commitment.
- Identify issues that will impact the community and distribute community updates for key activities occurring as part of project operations, providing a key public contact for the local community.
- Attend and contribute to regular meetings with Owners and relevant corporate stakeholders.
- Maintain, update, and deliver the stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Manage logistics for key external stakeholder engagement activities such as community site visits, consultation events, sponsorships, and local media events.
- Administer and maintain stakeholder databases to support project communication activities.
- Liaise with local schools regarding supporting the renewables aspect of the curriculum including presentations, and if appropriate, site tours.
- Support and contribute to the embedding and adoption of new learning, best practice, process improvements and ideas through liaising with colleagues across the Australian and global businesses.
- Assist the Asset Manager and Project Team with ensuring compliance of the relevant statutory approvals as they relate to the community.
