**ABOUT THE POSITION**

We are looking for a Property & Facilities Manager with strong leadership and trade skills to lead our close knit grounds and maintenance team. This is a broad ranging role with key input into strategic and operational decisions in relation to the School's facilities and grounds. The position is full time, ongoing with a proposed start date of late March 2025. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of effective management of our facilities and grounds.

It is essential that the successful applicant have, or be able to demonstrate the following:

- Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to develop and maintain systematic schedules of operation and risk management
- Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and practices, with experience in ensuring compliance and implementing safety protocols in a workplace setting.
- Proven experience in maintenance or facility management, ideally in a school or similar environment, with the ability to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, coordinate projects, and manage maintenance staff.

Additionally, the successful applicant will have, or be able to demonstrate the following:

- Certification or training in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical) or building maintenance, demonstrating expertise in general repair and upkeep of facilities.
- Experience with or demonstrated ability in leading a team
- Servant-hearted approach to maintenance support with a collaborative mindset
- Actively support and adhere to the School's vision, mission, and ethos
- Have, or be willing to obtain, a current Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have, or be willing to obtain, First Aid qualifications
