This role involves you overseeing inventory operations, including receiving, storing, maintaining, and distributing supplies across the Gold Coast Health Service District. You will coordinate physical distribution systems and work closely with procurement teams and a diverse client base, from departmental managers to end users.
What you'll do
Ensuring the quality and standard of incoming stock is of an acceptable standard by inspection prior to acceptance. Liaison with vendors with regard to incorrect deliveries and back orders.
Maintaining a high degree of inventory record accuracy. Monitor and review stock usage levels to minimise inventory levels whilst satisfying client needs.
Bulk stock storage in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
Ensuring cleanliness and protection of the stock and storage areas.
Issuing stock and recording of stock movements using the S4 HANA system.
Liaison with the Purchasing/Procurement personnel and clients on distribution problems.
Supervise the processing of stock and non-stock receipts which involves ensuring the quality of goods provided is in accordance with orders, and prompt distribution to requisitioning clients.
About you
**We are searching for someone with**:
Knowledge and experience in warehousing and distribution activities for a large organisation.
Knowledge of and compliance with financial and procurement delegations.
Ability to use a Personal Computer
Knowledge of specific Queensland Health software e.g. S4 HANA, MS Outlook etc
Knowledge of OHS, anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour & EEO principles
**Licence to Operate Vehicles**: This position requires the incumbent to operate forklift and motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate these types of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
