Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our product engineering organization as a Staff Software Engineer. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to shape our technical architecture, drive innovation, and mentor teams while working within our Product Operating Model.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic programs of work that align with our core business and technical strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team responsible for delivering pricing capabilities for home buying customers, including maintaining and evolving a suite of applications that calculate discounts and package offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of strategic technical initiatives and provide architectural oversight across multiple product teams.
Drive technical excellence and innovation, including the adoption of AI technologies, across the engineering organization.
Provide high-level technical consultation across projects and delivery teams while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical initiatives.
Champion and establish best practices, industry standards, and quality frameworks across teams.
Partner with product leadership to ensure technical strategy aligns with business objectives.
Mentor and upskill engineering teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Tech Skills Required
Full-stack development expertise across frontend and backend technologies.
Deep knowledge of cloud architecture and microservices.
Experience with modern databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of GenAI tools and platforms.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
