**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join Hastings Deering in the position of
**Trainer - Technical **in our Brisbane Training Facility in Acacia Ridge. This role primarily exists to develop, plan, coordinate, facilitate and evaluate Technical Training programs and courses for Hastings Deering employees, external customers and business partners. This is a
**Permanent, full-time**, Monday to Friday role.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

- Develop and maintain training materials and delivery programs in accordance with Hastings Deering and Caterpillar guidelines
- Facilitate technical training in a safe, positive and open learning experience for all learners
- Organise and execute logístical plans for printing, freight, facilities, travel details/bookings, inductions to ensure quality outcomes
- Research, develop/manufacture and maintain training aids, visual aids and other appropriate items to support and enhance the learning experience
- Role model and demonstrate company values and behaviour both internally and externally
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities for the capability department and the broader organisation

**About You**
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Certificate III in Heavy Earthmoving or trade equivalent
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Post trade experience within the surface or underground mining, construction and heavy earthmoving industry
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in delivery of Technical Training considered desirable
- Flexibility to travel to our territories throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory is required
