You will perform the below duties with consultation and advice from Mohammad

Abu Hurayra, the Imam (Minister of Religion) at IPDC Centre.

1. Lead five times daily prayers.

2. Lead Jumuah (Friday) prayers.

3. Lead Tarawi prayers during the Holy month of Ramadan.

4. Lead funeral prayers.

5. Lead Eid prayers.

6. Teach the Holy Qur'an to children and adult members of the community.

7. Teach Bengali language to children.

8. Teach Arabic language to community members.

9. Conduct religious sessions to male and female members of the community.

10.Deliver lectures on special religious events.

11.Deliver lectures to enhance a positive relation among people of various faiths.

12.Provide religious guidance to community members.

13.Offer counseling services in the events of death, sickness and other hardship

of the community members.

14.Assist in conducting marriage of the community members.

15.Advice to Hajj (pilgrimage) participants.

16.Assist in organising social activities such as national harmony day,

Bangladesh Independence Day, blood donation, Clean up Australia Day

and Armadale City Council community activities days.

17. Other activities as per IPDC constitution if mutually agreed by the

sponsoring authority and the employee.

18.Conduct the teaching of the Holy Qur'an, Arabic language and other religious

classes at Armadale Masjid and Islamic Centre (AMIC), Armadale and at

other locations of the Greater Perth if asked by the Secretary of AMIC or

IPDC Central President.

Mandatoy:
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident only

Minimum 4 years local job experience in the same field.

Desirable:
Able to communicate in Bengali

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
