**Short Description**:Be there when it matters most as a Funeral Coordinator for InvoCare by working with us at Glen Waverley Operations. Be responsible for allocation of staff and resources to the locations that provide funeral services to the local community. Actively contribute to a friendly and positive working environment where business outcomes, customer service and staff cooperation are the focus.

An exciting opportunity has now become available for an experienced coordinator with a service-driven orientation to join our team to be based at our Glen Waverley Operations, on a Full-Time basis.

Glen Waverley Operations is part of InvoCare, a funeral industry leader which operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and growing.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Support families and help with the first steps in arranging a funeral
- Liaising with hospitals, families and nursing homes to arrange transfer of the deceased
- Coordinating and dispatching transfer teams
- Scheduling times for funerals, viewings, burials and cremations
- Allocating funeral staff, equipment and vehicles
- Completing the funeral day sheet (run sheet)
- Ability to be available to work across rostered weekends

- The ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people, internal and external to the organisation
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Show a willingness to go the extra mile for customers and the company, balancing business needs with the needs of each customer
- Ability to think outside the square to develop improved solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Advanced skills MS Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Solid experience in CRM computer systems and ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems
