The Infrastructure Specialist will work on a range of complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs, utilising a variety of technologies including Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, Virtual Desktop infrastructure, and Cloud technology among others.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
This includes physical and virtual servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments
Ensuring reliability, security, and performance of the infrastructure to support business operations
Design and Implementation - planning, designing, and implementing new infrastructure components or solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud services
Troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of existing infrastructure
Monitoring and Optimization - proactively monitoring infrastructure performance, identifying potential problems, and optimizing systems for efficiency and performance
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access
