Working directly for a growing Australia-Wide organisation that is looking to expand their team in Katherine and is seeking an experienced Fire Panel Tester to support a Defence contract (single site).
Permanent full-time role, working Monday – Friday (40 hours per week + O/T). Participation in an on-call roster (1 week a month) with an allowance for standby, and call outs paid a minimum of 4 hours at 2x rate.
The role:
Visual inspection of Fire Indicator Panels for damage or deterioration.
Testing of Fire Indicator Panels (monthly, 6-monthly, and annual) in compliance with Australian Standards (AS Section 6).
Providing written reports of inspections and tests, highlighting any issues for rectification.
Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in inspecting, testing, and reporting on Fire Panels.
Knowledge of AS Section 6.
Australian Citizenship.
NT driver's license.
Ability to secure a Police Clearance.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening.
Living locally in Katherine or willing to relocate.
