Electrical Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining workplace safety.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Electrical Test & Tag Technician to join our team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work on-site in Central Coast, NSW.

The successful candidate will perform electrical test and tag services, conduct routine checks and maintenance on electrical equipment, inspect and test portable fire equipment and emergency and exit lighting.

This includes testing and tagging portable electrical appliances, inspecting and testing portable fire equipment, and testing and inspecting emergency and exit light systems.

You will also document all testing procedures and results, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Testing and tagging portable electrical appliances
  • Inspecting and testing portable fire equipment
  • Testing and inspecting emergency and exit light systems
  • Servicing clients throughout the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Newcastle areas
  • Interacting professionally with commercial clients
  • Accurately logging test results via mobile PAT Tester

Requirements include:

  • Driver license and reliable vehicle
  • Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain
  • Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
