Our team is looking for dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic people to be part of our Health Consultant Team on a casual basis based in Sydney.

LifeWorks (formerly SMG Health Pty Ltd) empowers people to take control of their health through a range of health management programs and services created to help people make better health decisions. LifeWorks are a leader in providing workplace services like vaccinations, health checks, skin checks, counselling, and other mental health support services.

We are looking for individuals passionate about health to join our allied health professional team. Our health consultants provide a range of services in the corporate setting, including assisting nurses in vaccination clinics, providing health checks and health coaching.

**What you will do**:

- Conducting employee health checks, including cholesterol testing, blood pressure, waist measurement and lifestyle questionnaires.
- There may also be an aspect of health coaching and potential opportunity to provide seminars in your area of expertise

In turn we want you to:

- Have a knowledge of workplace health promotion and the delivery of corporate health programs or relevant health promotion experience
- Display high quality organisation and time management skills
- Commit to delivering high quality assessments
- Liaise directly with a range of individuals, including clients, health professionals, program managers & equipment coordinators
- Communicate with a wide range of occupational groups, displaying your interpersonal skills to support the client and deliver outcomes.

**Skills and Experience**

In addition, you'll have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Health Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or equivalent health related degree
- Current First Aid certificate (within the last 3 years)
- Current CPR certificate (within the last 12 months)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
- Experience in the conduct of health/ fitness assessments and the provision of healthy lifestyles counselling are desirable

Desirable:

- ESSA, DAA, APA or AHPRA membership (or eligible for membership)
- Available 2 or more weekdays per week

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
