Randstad is seeking two skilled and highly motivated EL1 Content Writers & Technical Authors to join a pivotal team within a key Australian Government department.
You'll play a crucial role in establishing a new, independent agency by January 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark public health initiative by developing and shaping the digital identity and foundational documentation of this new entity.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and draft engaging content for the new agency's website and intranet, including strategic and operational content.Create and edit technical documentation, such as organizational strategies, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance frameworks.Ensure all content is high-quality, accurate, and compliant with Australian Government communication standards, including accessibility guidelines.Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to gather information and ensure content is aligned with project objectives.Manage competing priorities and deliver work plans efficiently to meet critical project deadlines.Skills & ExperienceExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.Demonstrated experience in content development, copy-editing, and technical writing.Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work independently to a defined schedule.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Sound understanding of Australian Government communication standards and accessibility guidelines is essential.Important InformationApplicants must be Australian citizens and must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Australian Government security clearance.
