Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking an HC driver with long distance driving experience to join their operation based in Orange NSW. This is an afternoon shift role where you will be delivering products between Orange, Sydney and Parkes. Shift times will commence from 3:30pm and will work through until the following morning and as required.
Responsibilities
Deliver freight between Orange, Sydney and Parkes locations
Daily prestart checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior
Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
Comply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling procedures
Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
Qualifications
Open HC/MC licence and experience
Experience delivering timber freight intrastate
Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
History of safe work practices and excellent communication
