We're seeking someone who loves early mornings, vibes working alongside other amazing humans and enjoys drinking coffee, sometimes maybe too much

Does coffee brewing make you nerd out? Do you have a deep passion for the science of coffee learning about all things coffee from crop to cup? And do you love being in and building community? Then this is your chance to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista who thrives in a dynamic work environment, for the LSKD HQ Cafe upgrade arriving soon

**About you**
- Previous experience as a barista and/or server in a café or espresso bar with specialty coffee knowledge looked upon highly
- Proficiency in operating coffee machines and understanding of 'dialling in' and coffee extraction techniques
- Genuine interest in coffee, beans and brewing or willingness to learn
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for every guest
- Confident use of POS
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to share knowledge and support junior staff is looked upon highly

**The gig**
- Be the 'go to human' for all things coffee within the cafe, including sharing knowledge and communicating needs to create a strong coffee team
- Daily lead in dialling in and coffee extraction and ability to support team members to deliver the best coffee experience
- Be a positive contributor to the cafe team every time you attend your shift with ability to support other areas of the workflow when requested
- Contribute to event and promotional ideas as required
- Chase the vibe. Bring the vibe.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment in accordance with Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety Standards
- Flexibility to assist with varied tasks and adapt to the café's needs, showing initiative when appropriate including cleaning, food prep and POS
- Stock take and ordering
- Learn, understand and implement the systems designed to help you succeed and create the best possible customer experience
- Align with core values and goals of the LSKD Cafe and LSKD Brand
- Weekend work as required
