**About Us**: Common Grounds Corner will be operated under new management in the weeks to follow. Common Grounds Corner is a cozy and vibrant café located in the heart of Gowrie. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee and delicious food, all within a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista/Supervisor to join our team.

As the Head Barista/Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring the highest quality of coffee and customer service. You will lead and motivate our team of baristas, manage inventory, and maintain the café's cleanliness and ambiance. Your role will be pivotal in creating an outstanding experience for our customers and fostering a positive work environment for our staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Preparation and Service**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to the highest standard.
- Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of current coffee trends and techniques.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and mentor baristas to ensure excellent customer service.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock to maintain freshness and quality.
- **Cafe Operations**:

- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the café, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain standard operating procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- A passion for coffee and a commitment to quality.
