**Warehouse Picker Needed in Bayswater, Vic.**

**About the business and the role**

A&K Vic Pty Ltd, a bakery and cake ingredients distributor located in Bayswater, Victoria for the last 15 years. We distribute ingredients for bakeries, cake houses, takeaway shops etc and also packaging materials.

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking self-starter with positive attitude and physically fit to heavy lift to work in our warehouse from Monday to Friday.

**Warehouse worker duties and responsibilities**
- Picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and getting them ready for dispatch.
- Checking incoming goods against invoices and inspecting them to ensure they are free of damage
- Unloading delivery trucks and unpacking the contents of packages
- Using warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, to lift, place and remove items on high shelves or racks.
- Sorting items and placing them in the correct location on shelves
- Complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

**Skills and experience**
- Must possess a friendly personality as he fronts the company;
- Honesty, sense of pride, responsibility on his work, mindset of ownership on company property is a must.
- As the company grows, the is potential for the job and remuneration to grow as well.

**Job benefits and perks**

Pay and remuneration will commensurate with experience based on the Awards rate.

The remuneration structure has inbuilt incentives.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
