The Content Migration Specialist role is responsible for moving customers' website content from their current site to the OpenCities platform to meet project deadlines. Content Migration Specialists work collaboratively to solve issues and help refine migration processes. We have a Zoom stand-up meeting every morning and use Slack or Teams during the day to discuss our work.

**What You'll Do**:

- Learn and understand the content management functions of the OpenCities platform
- Migrate content from customers' current sites into the OpenCities platform, assuring that the transition is done accurately, effectively, efficiently, and according to the instructions.
- Keep projects on time by quickly communicating concerns or possible delays and re-setting expectations where needed.
- Aid in improving the Content Migration process by communicating suggestions and ideas to the Content Migration Manager.
- Quality Assurance: members of the Content Migration team review each others' work to ensure its accuracy, accessibility and adherence to the Content Migration Requirements and AIM documents.

**Who You Are**:

- You have at least a year's experience in using Content Management Systems and HTML
- You're comfortable with basic MS Excel and Word
- You're happy to work collaboratively and in regular communication with one of the kindest and most helpful teams of people you'll ever meet
- You're detail-oriented, curious, kind and communicative
- You're not afraid to ask questions, make suggestions and let the team know when you need a hand
