**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**LOCATION: Kyneton, Victoria**

Kilcoy Global Foods (KGF) currently has a permanent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a fast-paced, Beef and Lamb production environment. Work environments will vary from agricultural, production, refrigeration and rendering.
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, with a strong focus on a preventative approach
- Contribution of ideas and input to improved systems, procedures and maintenance
- Engage with the production team to optimise the performance of all equipment on a daily basis
- Assist in capital and continuous improvement projects as directed
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, health and environment
- Understand the urgent nature of the business and manage competing priorities
- Prioritise urgent repairs of equipment
- Understand the importance of troubleshooting and problem solving
- Coordinate and collaborate with contractors as well as other departments regarding reliable maintenance of the various sections of the plant

**REMUNERATION**
- $45-$50/hr (plus shift allowance)

**ROSTER**
- Afternoon Shift commencing at 2pm.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Trade qualifications - Certificate III in Engineering as a minimum
- Experience in Maintenance Fitter or Fitter-Mechanic role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and great diagnostics for fault finding
- Reliable, motivated self-starter
- Can-do attitude, focusing on solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and communication skills
- FMCG or manufacturing environment (highly regarded).
- Unlimited working rights within Australia
- Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce
- Drivers licence and reliable vehicle, or
- Reliable means of getting to work
- Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
