**The Role**

Following and continuing into an impressive growth period at our Head office based near Perth airport, we are currently seeking a HSE Advisor to assist and coordinate the HSE daily operations of a worksite to ensure a high level of performance and compliance with health and safety guidelines.

**Duties will include**:

- Personally adhere to safety standards and enforce safety amongst others.
- Engage and participate in Health & Safety (H&S) discussions, training, risk assessments, toolbox discussions and other Health & Safety initiatives.
- Contribute to and provide feedback on H&S management system documentation and tools.
- Distribute safety notices passed down from clients and update the H&S notice boards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the safety induction, safe act observation and training programs.
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of reportable incidents and accidents in the workplace.
- Prepare the Company's H&S Performance and statistical reports.
- Attend all scheduled Safety Meetings
- Prepare on a as needs basis, Training Needs Analysis for each of the workplaces.
- Conduct workplace inspections and undertake regular internal safety and environmental audits of the systems and / or associated processes, procedures and work practices.

**About you**:

- Strong leadership and communication skills and an ability to solve problems quickly
- Understanding of OHSE requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Conflict resolution abilities and confidence dealing with a wide range of people, from tradespeople to customers/stakeholders and management.
