**Your new company**

Hays currently recruiting for a customer service officer to work within a government department based in Robina. The position is a 3-month contract initially with the possibility of extension and is paying an hourly rate from $39 per hour + super

**Your new role**

You will provide a high quality, person-centred social assistance service to diverse customers experiencing complex and challenging situations, and whole of life issues in person over the front counter, digitally, by telephone, correspondence, in the field and through outreach services in the community.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in customer service roles and able to manage new and unexpected events and demonstrate judgement about when to escalate issues.
- Embrace new challenges and show resilience during times of change and uncertainty
- Proficient use of Excel
- Demonstrate strong skills, knowledge and expertise in service delivery with a focus on teamwork and providing person-centred solutions.
- Demonstrated experience within not-for-profit organisations and/or real estate
- Class C Driver's Licence
