POSITION OVERVIEW As Assistant Bar Manager, you'll be a key part of the leadership team, working closely with the Bar Manager and Venue Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day bar operations.
You'll help lead, train, and inspire the bar team, maintain Light Years' high drink standards, and ensure an unforgettable guest experience.
With a hands-on approach, you'll support stock control, financial procedures, and overall bar efficiency while fostering a vibrant and engaging workplace culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Bar Manager in leading a high-performing bar team.Assist with training and development to ensure consistency and quality in all beverages.Maintain stock control, ordering, and inventory management.Uphold health and safety standards, including liquor licensing compliance.Work closely with the Venue Managers to monitor KPIs and enhance operational performance.Deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensuring speed, consistency, and creativity in drink service.Oversee bar presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency, ensuring a seamless workflow.
ABOUT YOU Experience in a high-volume bar or hospitality venue.A passion for cocktails, spirits, and premium beverage service.Strong leadership and communication skills.A hands-on, team-oriented attitude with a focus on training and development.A keen eye for detail and commitment to consistency.Knowledge of Asian-inspired cocktails is a bonus but not essential.
