Senior Legal Counsel – Generalist In-House & Contracts – 10+ years' PAELawmee is currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with 10+ years' PAE to complete a 6-month contract engagement, with the potential for extension or transitioning to permanent employment – depending on business requirements and the relevant candidate's experience.Working closely with a small but high-functioning team of lawyers and global operations team, you will advise stakeholders across the business in relation to a broad range of commercial and legal matters.This opportunity is full-time (5 days per week) with some of the key responsibilities including:Negotiating, drafting, and advising on a broad range of legal and commercial contractsAdvising key stakeholders in relation to day-to-day corporate and legal matters - eg, customer complaints, general legal issuesProviding a broad range of regulatory advice in relation to real estate licenses, construction, credit/AFSL, insuranceWorking with the business to settle disputesAssisting with a range of internal and external compliance mattersExperience with contractor agreements and procurement purchase/supply/tolling agreements will be helpful but is not a strict prerequisite.Ideally, you will be based in Melbourne and willing to attend our client's offices up to 3 days per week to interact with the team and business in person.
