**About the Job**
Reporting to the Senior Business Manager Investments, the Investments PMO Manager will be a key enabler of transformation and change within the Investments business. This role will oversee and support the end-to-end process for change initiatives within Rest Investments to ensure efficient delivery and appropriate governance. They will provide program and project governance, financial management, scheduling and tracking, status reporting, vendor management (for implementation only) and risk, issue and dependency management.
They will ensure the program adopts good market practice processes by utilising their project/ program management knowledge and support the executive and business sponsors. The role also maintains program records as well as quality assurance over processes and documentation.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Own and manage the project initiation, delivery and closure process including the capture, classification, assessment, prioritisation and endorsement of business ideas.
- Working with Program and Project Managers, and business representatives, ensures all program / project processes, registers, repositories, and status reporting are established and consistent.
- Provide project management support to business teams to implement small initiatives.
- Proactively identify, assess and track program activities, resources, dependencies, risks, and costs.
- Regularly monitor and report progress and variations against approved plans, objectives, scope, schedule, resourcing and budget.
- Advise the Management Investment Committee on prioritisation of change initiatives and projects, based on factors including importance, urgency, and capacity.
- Ensure program benefits are defined, can be realised, tracked and reported.
- Enable workforce planning across the program

Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree in business, finance, science, engineering, IT or similar (essential)
- Post-graduate courses in business, finance, or project management (desirable)
Required experience, understanding or credentials include:
- Business domain knowledge in superannuation, investments or financial services
- At least 5-7+ years Project Management experience including specialisation in software development, project management, change management, process architecture or systems integration.
Preferred experience, understanding or credentials include:
- Demonstrated ability in managing PMOs in small to medium organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing financials and completing status reporting against KPIs.
- Capability for problem-solving, decision-making, and sound judgment.
- Created and maintained delivery methodology, artefacts and supporting toolkit for project delivery.
- Prioritised and managed resources in a lean environment incl. people and financial/ contingency.
- Maintained a real time picture of status and priority.
- Experience endorsing and critically evaluating project and initiative proposals.
- Experience in reviewing and challenging project scopes, records and change requests.
