After more than 35 years operating as a successful uranium mine, the Ranger Project is entering its rehabilitation stage and offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the environment.

ERA has engaged the global engineering firm, Bechtel, to support ERA as Delivery Partner for ongoing study work.

Bechtel will be working alongside ERA and major stakeholder Rio Tinto to restore the land to the status of its surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. A collaborative project, this project will be developed in consultation with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and will benefit the Jabiru community.

Located 8 km east of Jabiru and 260 km south-east of Darwin, the Ranger Project will lead the way in the fast-growing area of mining closures.

As our **Project ESH Trainer, **with support from the ES&H Manager, and in line with our Project ESH Management Plan,** **you will be responsible for assisting in the identification, development and rollout of required training for the project (including both Bechtel personnel and subcontractors).

You will be in charge of preparing and delivering a comprehensive training program tailored to the project ES&H Management Plan to help us support and grow our leadership and people capabilities, and ensure this legacy project is safely and successfully delivered.

We are also going to ask you to review and revamp the induction and onboarding process to ensure it is fit for purpose and sets the project up for continued success.

This role is based on site at the Ranger Mine jobsite offices where you will be assigned on a fly in/fly out roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off) flying to and from Darwin - with a drive to the Jabiru work site - where camp accommodation is provided.**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivery of training elements and modules as per the Project's ES&H Training Management Plan
- Developing, maintaining, and updating training materials
- Ensuring competency for project personnel working in prescribed occupations and / or operating prescribed occupation plant and high-risk activities
- Maintaining the ES&H training Matrix as part of a wider training matrix
- Providing all training records to the Workforce Services training department who shall maintain the single point data retention of personnel qualifications
- Verifying/assessing subcontractor conformance to training plan(s)
- Reporting conformance to the ES&H Training Management Plan on a monthly basis
- Participating in review of corrective actions to help ascertain where training would help minimise reoccurrence or repetition of non-conformance or incidents
- Assist with the coordinating the training schedule
- Coordinating with the Workforce Services Manager to engage Registered Training Organisations (RTO's) for ES&H training requirements
- Support of the day-to-day activities of the elected RTO's who are providing ES&H training
- Support development of training materials and presentations.
- Support all aspects of the Project Hazard School whereby training participants gain a thorough understanding of the need to anticipate and recognise hazards, the risks of exposure and strategies for self-awareness
- Strong knowledge of relevant Workplace Health and Safety laws and regulations and industry standards
- Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and One Drive tools
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Assist in the validation of contractor Verifications of Competencies
- Record all training records in the respective project records - data entry required
- Provide statistics on training performance
- Any other duties as assigned by the Project ES&H Manager
