**About the Role**:
The Mining Systems Equipment Commissioning Specialist is a Perth based role on a Monday to Friday Roster.

**The duties of the role include but not limited to**:

- Maintaining strong relationships with BHPs Asset Engineering and Mobile Maintenance teams, Tier 1 & 2 OEMS and 3rd Party Contractors
- Ensuring a strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Provide governance and standardisation of mobile mining technology onboard design and installation through minimum standards and engineering documentation.
- Provide input into the design, installation, commissioning and validation of onboard mobile mining technology systems in supporting Mobile Equipment Engineering.
- Assess and manage changes to onboard electronic systems
- Identify, plan and execute lifecycle management activities for onboard electronic systems on Surface Mining Equipment
- Facilitating asset audits on operational mobile equipment
- Assist maintenance and operations team to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Define, review and improve maintenance strategies for onboard electronic systems
- Draft work instructions for the safe installation, inspection and maintenance of onboard electronic systems
- Inspection and acceptance of new equipment installations from OEMs
- Provide expert advice to customers and stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities

**About You**:

- Ability to collaborate, influence and work with site based operational teams
- Significant work experience within mobile mining equipment commissioning and automation of mobile technologies
- Experience in mobile mining technology roles (Autonomous Haulage, Fleet Management Systems, Autonomous Drilling, High precision Guidance Systems, Mobile Safety Systems)
- Fundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering
- Fundamental knowledge of key Mobile Systems (including automated systems)
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, including computer-electronic components
- Minimum of C class manual driver's licence.
