Our Risk Team.

Our Risk function is made up of a strong team of professionals who protect Latitude by ensuring operational and compliance risks are well managed and enable the business to grow by making appropriate risk-informed decisions.

As our Head of Enterprise & Operational Risk, you will lead the development, enhancement, implementation and monitoring of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Frameworks and all components, including strategies, tools, and the culture required to balance business priorities and risks. This will ensure we meet our regulatory obligations and business outcomes.

Some key responsibilities:
As an active member of the Operational Risk and Compliance Leadership Team and extended Risk LT, you will own and continually improve the risk assessment process, driving and supporting a positive and mature risk and compliance culture.

Enabling Line 1 to effectively implement risk governance and management processes, uplifting and maturing operational reliability, resilience and efficiency, in turn steering strong Line 2 challenge and oversight of risk management across Latitude.
- Direct and manage operational risk management priorities, including implementing relevant procedural requirements, evidence-based risk & compliance assessments, control assessments/testing, recommending risk mitigation solutions and leading through change.
- Facilitate the development of risk reports that provide clear, relevant and pragmatic opinions and insights on operational risk matters, including root causes, trends, mitigation/remediation.
- Provide advice, oversight and challenge to Line 1 business stakeholders to support them discharging their operational risk responsibilities.
- Provide Line 2 operational risk reporting and insights to relevant governance and business forums, including the Board Risk Committee.
- Facilitate the development and use of effective Key Risk Metrics and Indicators
- Own the maintenance of the Governance Risk and Compliance system.

Key to success is your ability to develop sound working relationships with key stakeholders to embed Line 1 ownership of risks and risk management activities.

- You possess strong written skills - able to distil clear and simple messages from complex matters.
- You have a demonstrated track record of delivering strategic initiatives to enhance risk management.
- You are a strong and engaging leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate both Line 2 and Line 1 teams.
- You have a solid understanding of core processes within a financial services organisation
