Job DescriptionViva Energy Australia is seeking a visionary leader to drive our enterprise application and AI strategy, transforming the way we deliver digital solutions across the organisation. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-impact portfolio that blends business transformation, ethical AI adoption, and enterprise-wide technology optimisation.
As the Head of Enterprise Applications & AI, you'll lead a talented team and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that unlock measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the enterprise application and AI roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, setting clear objectives and driving delivery of impactful initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight across group-wide application projects, resolving competing priorities and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Enterprise Applications
- Drive application rationalisation and transformation to support growth and innovation.
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure a secure, consolidated, and business-focused technology portfolio.
- Lead ERP and Salesforce strategy, development standards, app/data architecture, and integration to maximise platform value.
AI Innovation & Governance
- Lead the AI delivery team to embed intelligent solutions across platforms and processes.
- Develop and maintain a robust AI governance framework, ensuring ethical, legal, and effective use of data and AI.
- Explore emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical business applications.
- Provide regular briefings to senior leadership and the board on AI progress, risks, and opportunities.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Proven experience leading enterprise application devops and AI strategy in large organisations.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in Salesforce and ERP architecture, configuration, and integration.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, governance, and ethical considerations.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including board-level reporting.
