- Position: Quality Assurance Officer: _
- This key position provides high-level support to the Quality Manager in the continuous improvement of Coolibah Herbs Quality System so that our processes continue to meet and exceed our customer expectations. In particular: _
- _support the Quality Manager in developing a workplace culture that maintains high standards of food manufacturing performance and compliance_
- _conduct internal quality checks to ensure our production processes and produce quality complies with food manufacturing standards initiating corrective action where variation in standards are identified_
- _support our Farms Management Teams in maintaining Fresh Care accreditation by regularly reviewing farm operations and taking a leadership role when external audits are undertaken_
- _work closely with Production employees to ensure internal standards of performance complies with SQF and Coolibah Herbs quality assurance policies and procedures_
- Qualifications and experience: _
- To be successful in this role, you will need: _
- _sound experience in a Quality Assurance role in the FMCG and / or manufacturing industry with demonstrated knowledge of SQF, Freshcare, CFMSR and WQA standards and HACCP principles_
- _proven ability to effectively work within a systems-based environment that safeguards the achievement and ongoing maintenance of Quality Certifications such as HACCP, SQF, Freshcare_
- _good experience working with production employees in in maintaining standards of performance within a quality control and quality assurance framework_
- _proven ability to work closely with a range of internal and external customers in building effective partnerships in a quality assurance context_
- _sound administration and organisational skills with proven ability to independently manage competing priorities_
- _ability to work independently and co-operatively in a team environment_
- Tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance, Food Science or process improvement is desirable._
- **Please note that this role will work from Tuesday to Saturday. (Start 6 AM and finish 3:30 Pm) **_

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
