**The Opportunity**

You will play a crucial role in forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products are readily available to meet customer needs. You will use your analytical skills to develop accurate demand forecasts, monitor inventory performance, and implement strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.

**Duties**:
This position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather demand inputs and insights.
- Analyse historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Optimise inventory levels to balance customer demand, production capacities, and cost objectives.
- Monitor and analyse inventory performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Implement demand planning strategies that improve forecasting accuracy and reduce lead times.
- Contribute to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align cross-functional teams.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous enhancements in demand planning processes.
- Utilise demand planning software/tools to streamline forecasting and reporting activities.

**Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a demand planner or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of demand planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
