Key Position: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking an experienced mechanical fitter to join our maintenance team for a high-functioning facility. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs, planned maintenance, occasional shutdowns, and general upkeep of hydraulic parts of large machinery.

The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications in mechanical fitting and previous experience in servicing engines, conveyors, hydraulics, and lubrication systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues with hydraulic equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Collaborating with other technicians to resolve complex problems

Requirements include:

  • Trade qualifications in mechanical fitting
  • Previous experience in engine servicing, conveyor maintenance, hydraulic repair, and lubrication system maintenance
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
