Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our Operations business in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST).
This is an opportunity to join our expanding Operations team, as part of our strategic growth plan for 2025 and beyond.
Based in Perth CBD, this is an initial 6-month contractor role and is available on a permanent full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

Wood "Operations" delivers Brownfield's engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry.

Expected:You will be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location.
Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Supply Chain / Logistics from a recognised institution, have RICS qualification or industry equivalent and have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial sectors of the Construction industry.
You will also have:Demonstrated experience in industry best practices supply chain principles and techniques.Detailed knowledge of suppliers, commercial evaluations, negotiations, terms and conditions of contract and industry forms of subcontract.Good experience computer systems (i.e. ERM, SAP)Be commercially astute with a "solutions mindset" and sound management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.Be customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood.Desirable: What will set you apart is your experience in applying your detailed knowledge of suppliers, commercial evaluations, negotiations, terms and conditions of contracts and industry forms of subcontract, as part of a multidisciplinary team.It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrow's solutions to the world's most critical challenges.
