**You'll be responsible for**
- Adhering to the AAL Claims Management Process, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and making informed decisions on claims.
- Committing to AAL standards to minimize claims leakage and control the cost of claims.
- Managing expectations and relationships with claimants and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Building and maintaining positive team relationships, tailor communication to client interactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.

**About you**
- Possess relevant tertiary or industry-specific qualifications, with significant experience in a designated functional area, particularly in claims management within a complex insurance organization.
- Demonstrate specific technical capabilities and competence, meeting AAL's professional progression standards, which may include the submission of a portfolio of evidence (for AAL employees).
- Experience in effectively handling claims management processes and procedures across various general insurance product lines.
- Able to collaboratively work within a team environment, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to manage competing demands.
- Exhibit the ability to analyze complex information, maintain high attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills to achieve the best outcomes for AAL.
