**About the Role**:
As the Youth Support Coordinator, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:

- Support Year 7's to positively transition to a secondary school environment
- Build relationships with families of disengaged students to provide early intervention
- Follow up on student wellbeing referrals for all year levels in consultation with the Guidance Officers
- Monitor student attendance/truancy and provide early intervention through stakeholders
- Organise and facilitate lunch time activities
- Develop and deliver programs that support students social and emotional wellbeing across all year levels
- Facilitate student check-ins
- Provide in-class support
- Present at year level assemblies
- Refer students and families to external support agencies
- Be a visible presence during break times by interacting with students
- Other duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Principal, Guidance Officer or nominated delegate

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
