Maintenance Supervisor

**Position Purpose**:

- Directly supervise, lead and mentor maintenance personnel and subcontractors (Civil and Landscaping) to perform a variety of works in the general maintenance, inspection and repair of motorway assets, infrastructure and landscaping within boundaries, day and night.
- Manage and perform related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent. Monitor the performance of works and determine the response and rectification in alignment with client obligations ensuring all works are delivered to relevant standard or specifications.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Supervision experience in Civil and Landscaping Road maintenance or construction
- Previous experience in Preventative (PM), Reactive (REM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM)
- Sound experience or knowledge within traffic control
- Knowledge of DTMR standards and specifications and able to interpret information
- Able to use AMIS and other IT based systems retrieving and entering data
- Able to lead and influence team members
- Able to supervise multiple crews over a large network
- Follow oral and/or written instructions
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
- Sound understanding of relevant workplace health and safety and environmental requirements
- Must possess a current Driver's Licence (MR or above preferred)
- Construction Industry White Card
- Computer literacy, including the Microsoft suite of programs
- Knowledge of Asset Management systems
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong decision-making ability
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Have a dedicated approach to work and the ability to communicate on all levels
- Additional licences and qualifications in other plant/equipment, civil or landscaping specific

**Physical Requirements of Role**:

- High level of physical fitness including lifting and carrying, squatting, kneeling, constant walking, frequent standing
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment fitness and medical examination and Drug & Alcohol Testing
