We are looking for a **Chemical Operator**, reporting to the Production Supervisor based in **Tullamarine, Victoria.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulation and blending - process and blending chemicals in multiple tank sizes.
- Manufacturing paint, including dispersion and assembly.
- Raw material preparation
- Operation of all material handling equipment
- Routine batch adjustment and doping
- Operating all filling and associated equipment
- Integrated automated filling systems.
- Support the operators with the production of coatings and sealants.
- Set up the equipment and materials to assist the PO.
- Adherence to PPG manufacturing procedures
- Clean and prepare equipment for the next task.
- Participate in 5S and Lean Six Sigma activities.
- Complies with all the procedures regarding Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Interest in learning and complying with PPG safety requirements.
- Strong team player, and ability to identify and overcome practical problems.
- Keen to learn the colour formulation, and correction, and be able to visually evaluate colour difference.
- Paint manufacturing and colour-matching experience are beneficial but not mandatory.
