Are you someone who enjoys making meaningful relationships with students and eager to help them settle into a new environment? As a Peer Mentor, you will provide advice, support, and service to international students to ensure that they are well prepared and ready for university.

**About the role**:
In this role, you will provide support to new students during their first five weeks in Tasmania. The job would involve being on campus and available via online chat to advise students on issues such as:

- Downloading their timetable and managing their time
- Settling into their accommodation and travel to and from campus
- Shopping, setting up mobile phone, dealing with homesickness, socialising

**About you**:
You must be a a graduate of the International Pathway College and have the ability to communicate with students from all walks of life. Providing your insight and experience, you will have a genuine desire to assist students in adjusting and get settled into their new environment.

You will also possess the following attributes:

- Ability to speak Hindi
- Positive, outgoing, and personable
- High energy but patient, supportive and empathic
- Student focused and driven to add value
