This Premium Client Manager position is responsible for actively building relationships to promote Pepperstone.
To be successful in the role, the candidate will help a select group of clients with tailored solutions to help overcome individual trading challenges, promote various educational and functionality solutions, and engage with traders.
They will also be expected to provide general advice on the financial markets and discussions around trading strategies, risk management and key market events.
The goal is to increase the longevity and success of this segment of traders.As our Premium Client Manager - AU, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Developing relationships through various channels with Pepperstone's Premium Client Group to impact their longevity at volume thresholdsUsing own industry sources and various external channels to build strong relationships and seek more referrals and trading volumesConsistently securing and growing premium clients by demonstrating a clear point of difference in experience, market knowledge and personal focus over the competitionAchieving sales targetsActively contributing to the premium team and assisting in helping others in the team developBeing a trusted adviser to premium clients on market and trading relating mattersMaintaining client interest in trading markets through regular dissemination of market analysis and trade opportunitiesAssisting in planning and executing client events with as requiredCollaborating with key internal departments, particularly marketing, operations, risk, and development teams to gain support for projects and deliver needed supportAssisting in planning and executing client events with as requiredAssisting in the organisation of quarterly premium events ranging from sporting events to conferencesMeeting clients face to face and attending luxury Premium Client Events to build and nurtuer client relationshipsAbout YouMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a phone sales environmentPrevious experience as an account manager and/or dealing with clients (preferably high net worth clients)Excellent collaboration skills, ability to work as part of a teamProactive attitude and uncompromising ability to put the client firstExcellent relationship building, customer service and influencing skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills that allow you to negotiate, resolve conflict and overcome challengesSound decision making and critical thinkingAbility to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly and an interest in and ability to coach othersProficient numerical ability; be comfortable working with numbersAbility to manage and proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to travel throughout Australia (and overseas ad hoc) as requiredAbility to live the Pepperstone valuesCommitted to ongoing learning and developmentPreferred but not essentialUnderstanding of financial markets, financial investments, and detailed understanding of various trading strategies (preferred but not essential)RG146 Financial Services General Advice qualificationExperience with MetaTrader 4 and cTrader softwareBachelor's degree in finance, business or similar (highly regarded)Why you will enjoy working with usCompetitive salary structure including company bonus schemeGenuinely collaborative and friendly cultureFlexible and hybrid workingRemote working option - work from anywhere for up to 6 weeks per year, in addition to hybrid working as standardOngoing personal development & learning opportunities15 weeks paid primary carers parental leave & 4 weeks paid secondary carers leave3 paid volunteering days per year & Workplace Giving ProgramFrequent events and celebrations including a standard weekly socialBeautifully renovated large office at Collins Square - 727 Collins Street, MelbourneBest in class end of trip facilities including bicycle parking, change rooms & showersA full stocked kitchen, onsite coffee machines with locally sourced coffee beans (this is Melbourne after all) and curated specialty teasMore About PepperstoneWe're a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform.
