We are agile and open to flexible working approaches.About The RoleDelivering project requirements according to agreed schedules consistent with Verbrec and client's quality standardsMaintaining mechanical engineering standards across all projectsProviding technical guidance to junior engineers and peersRecommending improvements to engineering systems and processesContinuously developing industry networks and contactsWorking with our clients to help identify efficiency opportunities and reach decarbonisation (ESG) targetsHaving an opinion, challenging the norm, and providing constructive feedback wherever possibleAbout YouMinimum of 5 years' experience in the design of oil, gas and energy, terminals or refiningProven Australian experience in oil and gas, mining, refining, terminal, tank farm or bulk fuel distributionA deep understanding of relevant design codes such as ASME B31.3, AS 4041, API 650, ASME VIII or AS 2885Experienced in pipe stress analysis (AutoPIPE or Caesar II)Site, fabrication or construction experience is viewed positively but not essentialCPEng / RPEQ or equivalent, or near completionYou are a great team player, with the ability to work within or guide teamsAbility to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervisionA degree in Mechanical EngineeringExcellent communication skillsExcellent writing skills including report developmentAbility to manage your time and work independentlyWe are growingAt Verbrec, we empower change and create opportunities for you to develop a supercharged career pathway, whether it is technical, or focused on the people.
