And now, we're seeking talented and passionate individuals to join our team.THE ROLEWe're looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our JD Sports ANZ People Team.This is a great opportunity for someone who's passionate about learning, capability-building, and supporting teams to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.In this role, you'll bring global JD Sports learning programs to life across Australia and New Zealand — tailoring content, delivering engaging sessions, and creating impactful development experiences for our teams.You'll partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and global colleagues to identify learning needs and deliver solutions across a range of formats, from in-person workshops to digital learning.If love facilitating training and helping others grow — this one's for you.Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, this role is responsible for but not limited to :Training Facilitation & DeliveryFacilitate engaging and effective in-person and virtual training sessions across all levels of the organisationDeliver onboarding and induction programs for Retail Managers and Support Office employeesServe as a subject matter expert (SME) in key areas (e.g., leadership development, compliance, systems training, etc.)Adapt delivery style and content to suit diverse learning audiences and modalitiesContent Design & DevelopmentDevelop instructional materials, including slide decks, facilitator guides, participant handbooks, and e-learning modulesTailor existing learning content to meet evolving business needsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational objectivesStakeholder Engagement & Needs AnalysisPartner with department heads, managers, and SMEs to assess training needsTranslate learning needs into impactful training solutions and delivery plansMaintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure continuous learning supportNeeds Analysis and EvaluationPartner with stakeholders to conduct training needs assessments and performance gap analysesAlign training solutions with organisational objectives, employee development plans, and compliance requirementsImplement evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick's Model) to assess training impact and recommend improvementsLearning Technology and SystemsManage learning management systems (LMS) and other platforms to ensure optimal user experience and efficient content deliveryResearch and integrate innovative tools, technologies, and trends to enhance learning engagementTroubleshoot technical issues related to eLearning courses and digital training toolsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
Certificate IV Training & Assessment, highly regardedTraining delivery experience within Retail or like industryMinimum 2-3 years of experience delivering in-person trainingExperience designing eLearning and blended learning solutionsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
