Embryologist - Maternity Leave Cover

The Opportunity & YouOur Applecross clinic offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Embryologist to become an integral member of our small team, performing outstanding laboratory services for our patients.
As an experienced IVF Embryologist, your role will be to support the laboratory supervisor in the lab's day-to-day operations, productivity, and efficiency.We are looking for an industry professional who is passionate about embryology and eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of fertility.
The ideal candidate will have more than three years of hands-on experience in embryology laboratories, demonstrating strong proficiency in IVF techniques, ICSI, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation, and familiarity with embryo biopsy.Key Responsibilities :Perform routine IVF and ICSI procedures with high proficiencyManage cryopreservation of oocytes and embryosAssist with embryo biopsy procedures when neededMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and RTAC regulationsCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient-focused careContribute to non-procedure lab duties including stock management, equipment maintenance, and documentationTo Be Considered for This Role :Have minimum 3 years of experience in an embryology laboratoryHold a recognised qualification in reproductive sciences, clinical embryology, or a related fieldDemonstrated competence in IVF, ICSI, and cryopreservation techniquesBe familiar with embryo biopsy techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsRelevant professional memberships (i.e., FSA, SIRT)Excellent time management and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teamsAvailability to work on weekends and public holidays as rosteredPlease note : this position requires weekend and public holiday coverage.Application Process :If you are a dedicated Embryologist who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter, then we invite you to explore this rewarding career opportunity with us.
