About the Opportunity

Service Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Field Team Leader to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ding the Network Maintenance field workforce across multiple

work types and clients.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Huntingwood

Reporting Line: State Field Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for:

- Work onsite/in field as a Leader of one or multiple crews daily
- Communicate to Field Manager where Field Staff falls short of their responsibilities & task in line with RACI
- Communicate with Field staff daily to check in on scheduled works, progress, safety, and staff wellbeing.
- Communicate/report on daily field operation changes to Field Delivery Manager/Scheduler.
- Report on people concerns/events to Field Delivery manager
- Enforce "Peer to Peer" accountability
- Actively maintain and develop culture and moral that ensures staff development & retention.
- Coordination of actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
- Monitor and report site progress and identify any potential or actual delays or dispute events.
- Record, follow-up and report on field productivities and devise corrective action plans where productivities are not achieved.
- Communication, review, and assessment of variations to project management for the record and notification of variations to client.
- Works in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport).
- Assist in the management of fleet maintenance and repairs
- Assist in materials management & stocktake
- Assist in Pre-Construction activities including:

- Design and constructability review of all work packs
- Pre-work coordination with 3rd parties (including council inspections)
- Performing a detail site inspection to identify start condition, scope changes and constructability issues.
- Assisting the Stakeholder manager during the pre-work land access notification period.
- Assess and prepare materials and resources requirements to ensure works are not delayed and delivered in accordance with deadlines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you are an experienced leader who is able to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently, ensuring standards, timelines are consistently achieved. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with the successful Build, Maintenance and Decommissioning of Telecommunication Networks. You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
- Experience in civil, telecommunications and hands on problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Work/ Excel/ Outlook)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Hold a current driver's license
- Construction OH&S Induction Card
