We're a registered B Corp and fully committed to an inclusive, equitable and forward-thinking workplace culture.Your New RoleIn this newly created role, you'll confidently execute equity and derivative trades across domestic and international markets, delivering best practice execution while ensuring alignment with investment strategies as part of the broader strategic objectives of Australian Ethical to achieve growth in funds under management.Key Responsibilities Include:Equity Trade Execution: Execute equity trades across global markets, co-ordinate capital raising and IPO participation, manage basket trades, seek appropriate liquidity as instructed, implement and manage direct market access, implement trade allocation policies and ensure alignment with portfolio objectivesMarket Intelligence: Monitor equity markets, stock flows and insights, company news flow, macroeconomic developments, and sector trends to provide actionable insights to investment teamsBroker and Counterparty Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with brokers and trading platforms to optimise execution quality, access differentiated market flow and negotiate appropriate commission rates.Compliance and Governance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk controls, with a strong focus on transparency and auditabilityTechnology and Systems: Leverage trading systems and data analytics tools to support efficient execution and post-trade analysisOversee and co-ordinate payment of research tags and CSA arrangementsWhat we're looking forYou're an established, adept equities dealer, with a demonstrated track record of delivering accurate, high-quality trade execution to deliver optimal outcomes supporting portfolio performance.
With deep market expertise, strong existing broker relationships, excellent communication and collaboration skills you're highly capable of contributing to strategic trading decisions.
