About the RoleAs a Team Member, you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within Northern Gold Coast, Southern Brisbane and IpswichThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain and perform regular inspections on equipmentEnsure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standardComplete service requests as requiredAdhere to safety protocols and proceduresBenefitsMonday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finishCompetitive hourly rateUniform and PPE suppliedOngoing safety training programs and resources availableFrequent free team social eventsCareer progression pathwaysPossibility of overtime in warmer monthsWhat are we looking for?
Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting and zero turn mowingValid Manual Drivers LicenceWhite CardACDC highly regardedAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individuallyBe punctual and reliableWillingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter monthsStrong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards Our Team & Culture We embrace and celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
