**The Role**
As part of our clients expansion plans, they are looking for a Plant Supervisor, to lead shifts on a rotating roster with a fixed crew. This position requires someone to show their leadership skills to ensure effective planning, communication, safety, detailing, and behaviours are displayed to ensure operational and production targets are met.
In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the General Manager, and you will play a crucial role in elevating their facility to continue meeting demand and building crew capability. Surpass monthly objectives and provide unmatched services under your guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and motivated work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
- Monitor and manage the production process, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
- Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, effectively to achieve production goals.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects and take corrective actions as needed.
- Address operational challenges and troubleshoot issues that arise during the shift. Collaborate with relevant departments to find timely and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, incidents, and performance metrics. Generate reports on production output, quality, and efficiency for management review.
**About you**
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.
- A solid understanding of the production processes, machinery, and equipment relevant to the industry.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and inspire the team to achieve goals.
- A collaborative approach, fostering teamwork and positive relationships among team members.
- A dedication to maintaining high-quality standards and a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous production.
