As a Technical Services Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the technical proficiency of our team, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Job Description:
Oversee the Technical Service department, comprising Electronics, IT, and Solar/Electrical teams.
Provide expert advice on technical matters, both internally and externally, to drive quality service excellence.
Plan and maintain annual budgets, supervising invoicing and generating regular reports.
Supervise apprenticeship programs, equipping technical supervisors to manage trainees effectively.
Contribute to management meetings, policy making, and decision-making processes.
Participate in monitoring the Radio Network and handling emergency calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualification in radio, electronics, computing, or a related field is essential.
Bible College Training/TEE course or equivalent is desirable.
Sound theoretical knowledge of electronics and communications.
Understanding of AC-coupled solar systems and AC/DC coupled systems.
Project Management experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering are required.
Fluency in English (spoken & written) and experience working in a cross-cultural team are essential.
Minimum 5 years of experience in radio and/or electronics, including servicing, manufacturing, and design.
Experience in managing people and delivering training is preferred.
