We provide high-quality, culturally safe legal and support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout NSW and the ACT, and fight for social justice and equity for our communities.

- Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure effective and professional conduct of bail matters.
- Maintain strong inter-agency and intra-office relationships, ensuring culturally appropriate client representation.
- Stay updated on legal developments, ensure ethical practice, and contribute to law reform and policy discussions.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
A highly skilled and motivated individual with a thorough understanding of the cultural, social, and historical needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You will be able to demonstrate:

- Hold legal qualifications and NSW Practising Certificate with a minimum of 2 years' experience in criminal law and strong advocacy skills.
- Demonstrate ability to provide high-quality legal advice and culturally appropriate representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
- Strong knowledge of criminal law, court procedures, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
- Proven experience in mentoring, supervising staff, and managing a multidisciplinary legal team.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills, with commitment to ethical, WHS, and diverse practices.
- Desirable: Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and hold a valid NSW Driver's licence with willingness to travel.

**Why Join Us?**
At ALS, you can discover a fulfilling career that truly makes an impact in the community. We also offer our staff a range of generous benefits including:

- Not-for-profit salary packaging to reduce your tax burden, which means you get to keep more of your hard-earned money in your pocket
