Our federal government client, the Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General (OOSGG) is seeking an experienced IT project manager.
Selection Criteria
Proven Project Management Expertise – Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver medium-to-large ICT projects, including planning, risk management, change control, and delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
Public Sector and Shared Services Experience – Experience managing ICT transitions or service integrations within the Australian Government, preferably involving shared services arrangements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication – Strong ability to engage, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, technical teams, and non-technical staff.
Leadership and Team Management – Demonstrated capability to lead, mentor, and manage ICT operations teams, including staff, contractors, and budgets.
Financial and Risk Management – Proven skills in financial planning, monitoring ICT budgets, and implementing strategies to manage risks and ensure the security and reliability of ICT systems.
